TOTAL Raffinage France, Raffinerie de Normandie in Gonfreville l'Orcher, wanted to replace its ageing cooling circuit for the propane recovery of the CONV1‑D2 deasphalting unit.

The reason of TOTAL choice for our piping system is mainly due to the insensitivity of our piping to both external and internal corrosion which can lead to fouling in the piping.

Pieces of pipes were prefabricated in our workshop and then erected during the 2016 shutdown instead of the existing pipes while reusing the existing supports and creating new ones for the valves.
