NEXITY Property Management and EIFFAGE Energie Systèmes‑CLEVIA Centre‑Est  entrusted SMT with the remaking in the same way of the internal chilled water column supplying the air conditioning system of the tower.

Part‑Dieu Tower is a high‑rise building - IGH - which implies that the product must comply with fire resistance standards.

The EPOBAT® pipe was installed vertically from level -3 to level +30, passing through 66 floor slabs from a steel sheath.

Branch connections including a set of valves and fireproof sleeves were installed on each floor.

The work was carried out on a night‑time shift so as not to cut off the ventilation during office hours and not to disturb the Radisson Hotel and the fitness room.

Extensive prefabrication of the pipes in 2 meters length was carried out, in parallel with the erection in order to reduce the erection time in the tower and to complete this project in a record time.

SMT is proud to have innovated and contributed its know‑how to this famous project.
