Within the framework of its Public Service Delegation contract for the operation and distribution of the geothermal heating network of Vigneux sur Seine, CONCORDIA Energie chose SMT for the production and reinjection surface heating connections between the drilling of the new geothermal doublet and the new geothermal power plant.

The advantages of Bondstrand® pipes that made CONCORDIA Energie's choice and confidence in our pipes were the excellent salinity resistance of the geothermal water thanks to its insensitivity to corrosion, the high operating pressure of 54 bars reinjection line which was tested at 81 bars, the hydraulic test carried out in an open trench making the test conditions more restrictive for the pipes and the fact that our technology does not require any addition of treatment product to the network.

This large‑scale project joins our achievements list in geothermal energy market, which to date counts 113 km installed.
