The reason of SMIREC choice for our piping system is mainly due to:

  • The piping is laid down in a feathered position, which makes any subsequent intervention difficult. As our piping is insensitive to corrosion, it does not suffer any alteration over time.
  • The proof is that the existing EPOCAL® network has been operating since 1982 without any leakage.
  • creation of a technical gallery under the tramway: the laying of the pipes in trench was also done with a gateway into a technical gallery built under the National 186 and the T1 tramway ways.
